I hope to Sleep Better Soon

I have had several of my own issues with trying to sleep better which seem to be changing constantly . Menopause, Stress, and Sleep Apnea have plagued me for years. For the past month, I have had a new reason to disturb my ability to sleep better. A chronic cough has been waking me up two or three times a night for the past month.

Today I finally went to seek some professional advice for this cough that I have had for the past few months. I have tried about everything that I know to get rid of this cough and I had absolutely no luck. It was sometimes so bad that I felt really guilty being around people. I knew that I wasn’t sick but you couldn’t tell from the sounds coming out of me.

Several years ago I had a similar cough but was smoking cigarettes at the time and thought that it was the price I had to pay for smoking. I was given a great cure. One of my co-workers gave me some Mullein Leaf and I made a cup of this tea for myself daily. It worked years ago and also for about two weeks recently. Then the cough started back again.

My family physician changed some of my medications back in August and shortly after that, I started with a cough. The specialist that I saw today said that this particular medicine is notorious for causing people to cough. He said that I would be cured after stopping this medication for about 2 weeks. I am looking forward to a Thanksgiving Dinner without coughing.

I know that I have some breathing issues because I am overweight. I have always had what is called an epicardial fat pad which has grown with me. It takes up space that would be better filled with lungs. Restrictive lung disease is now my diagnosed condition which would greatly improve with a drop in weight.

Time to start walking.
